It’s the Big One – a collection of our Core, Silver and Black Range beers to try and enjoy. With a variety of flavours and styles, it is truly an epic journey of Salopian discovery!
From the Core Range and presented in a 500ml bottle:
Shropshire Gold 3.8%: a delightful golden ale with a floral aroma and a full hoppy flavour that is balanced by a crisp dry maltiness and a rich finish.
Oracle 4%: Golden, with a floral aroma and a full hoppy flavour that is balanced by a crisp dry maltiness and a rich finish.
Darwin’s Origin 4.3%: First brewed in 2009 to celebrate the bicentennial of Charles Darwin’s birth in our home town of Shrewsbury. A copper-coloured bitter given an international twist with an eclectic mix of new and old-world hops that give the beer its distinctive lemony aroma and dry finish.
Hop Twister 4.5%: With a palate that is fresh, piercing and focused, complemented by soft malt overtones and pronounced citrus flavours. A strong focus of taut, lemony, grapefruit on the finish which is balanced by a dry bitterness.
Lemon Dream 4.5%: A shimmering golden ale that is brewed using organic lemons which adds beautifully subtle zesty aromas and a citrus filled fruity finish.
Golden Thread 5%: A bright gold ale, using wheat, lager malt, and flavoured with an infusion of aroma hops. Clean and crisp to the palate with a hint of sweetness and a long fruit-filled finish.
From the Silver Range and presented in a 440ml can:
Auric 4%: Our well hopped session IPA goes into can for the first time! Auric 4% is the first member of our brand-new Silver Range. It has a strong grapefruit aroma and a body filled with a quenching array of fruit rind, dried pine and sparkling lemon zest.
and from our acclaimed Black Range – presented in a 440ml can:
Kashmir: An elegant strong Salopian version of an IPA. Citrus, pine, and tropical fruit engulf the palate and caress the senses. A dry body with an extremely long lingering finish.
Paper Planes: A cloudy floral full flavoured session IPA with mellow bitterness and a doughy light pepperiness. With a lingering spiral of tropical fruit, pine and sweet orange blossom descending into an effervescent finale.
Trapeze: A crisp and refreshing New Zealand Pale brimming with a quartet of Kiwi hops – Nelson Sauvin, Moutere, Motueka and Nectaron – that delight with flavours of white grape, guava and pineapple and seamlessly layer over a granola-esque malt base.
The Void: A full-bodied and decadent stout brewed in collaboration with our friends at Neon Raptor, Huge charges of oats and specialty dark grains provide a rich, velvety malt base complemented by lashing of cacao, vanilla, and whisky-infused coffee beans from local roasters Iron and Fire. The end result is a complex and opulent treat to warm the bones and soothe the spirit.
Two Cathedrals: Generously hopped with a trilogy of Centennial, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin, this sumptuous 5.6% American IPA is an escape into a tropical storm of Mango, Guava and Passionfruit, complemented by a balanced piney bitterness and solid malt backbone. The freshness engages and edges you towards a second term.
Please note – Auric, Kashmir, Two Cathedrals and Trapeze serve with a hazy appearance as they are unfiltered and unfined. Paper Planes presents with an opaque appearance. The Void, is dark, very dark.
